6 birds going east.
More birds cruising north
And then some birds going south.
Way too many birds cruising back to north again. I wish I knew what they are doing but I don't know anything about birds. Like they have a migration masterplan in the warm autumn or something. Just going back and forth. Cruising around. Probably just looking for fish in the early morning. As a soundtrack for these scenes I keep hearing The Birds by Elbow. It's a magnificent proggy new song from this year.
What fantastic captures, Pietari! Love the birds in formation! They do look as though they have a plan! Hope your week is going well. Good to hear from you! Thanks as always for your comments and kind words!

VastaaPoistaSome very beautiful shots with a delicate shades. Thanks for the comments I'm glad you like my photos! A greeting. Elena.
VastaaPoistaLovely... Does it matter why birds do what they do? Not at all
VastaaPoistaWhat beautiful photographs. I often puzzle over why, here in Aberdeen, the geese are headed North! I love hearing them overhead...
VastaaPoistasuch great images!! Every autumn, when the many, many birds south draw I stand and marvel at the sky. I love their cries and their formations. Their systems to travel, the magic that attracts them, and especially ..... the spring when they come back.

I think they should form themselves, is perhaps a rallying point in the north ... unusual it is already ...
