Cloudbusting2-21, foggy weekend
The fog has landed in Finland and it will stay here whole weekend. People wander in a grey cloud on the streets in between the melting snow piles. I can almost hear the snow melting away exposing a heavy and wet carpet of gravel scattered all over the place during winter.
Today is the time to practise the use of fog lamps in the sea of road signs. For me it´s the time to put the paparazzi-tele-lens on and hope for the best.
Two bicyclists simultaneosly. The season has started, no doubt about it. Soon I should take my bike to get it fixed. I usually do small repairs on my own but now it needs the attention of a professional.

I hate to admit this...but until today I hadn't read your profile...simply enjoyed your pictures...and only today learned that you are in Finland. My father's family is originally from Finland...my great grandfather was a Lutheran minister from Finland who lived in St. Petersburg when my grandfather was born. My grandfather immigrated to the US in the very early 1900's...
VastaaPoistaFoggy days, indeed. Maybe I could also hear the snow melt if I went outside.
VastaaPoistaAh, foggy it is! We're having some too, although not that much! These are really terrific captures, Pietari, as always. Hope you and your family have a great weekend!
VastaaPoistaSylvia
ghosts of winter in early spring. nice shots
VastaaPoistaThe silver birch look good in the fog. It is so gloomy. I like it! We had sun and warmth here today. Hope you get some soon!
VastaaPoistaI like such daily life captures of your world.
VastaaPoistaVery well captured shots.
I can just feel the freezing, penetrating cold of the fog.
